When I got ahold of Brendon and Nikayla I was at my lowest point. My eating habits were out of control with huge bingeing and then eating nothing for several days to punish myself as well as not training and several bad injuries that weren’t coming right. I was at a weight I had not been in a very long time and my body was suffering big time. I was embarrassed that as an athlete I had done this to myself and I knew I needed to make changes.

Having done almost every ‘fad diet’ there was I knew I needed to work with professionals that could change the way I viewed food. It took me a few weeks to settle in but with Brendon’s encouragement and weekly checking in, as well as trusting the process, I began to feel better. The cleaner I ate, the harder I trained and my energy levels were always good. My injuries also were starting to come right with the right training and nutrition in place.

Brendon constantly changed things each week depending on my training and as we got closer to fight date there was regular contact. On the morning of weigh in I was 61kg and a small sweat out of a bath then later a sauna to have me weighing in at 59.7kg! This ment in 14 weeks we lost over 15kg!!

I had over 24 hours to get my fluids back in and nutrition was on point with Brendon giving me exactly what I needed at certain times throughout the day. I went in to my fight with the best mental and physical state I had ever been in and nutrition is a huge part of this. While I lost on points to my opponent this was such a great experience for me and I knew I had ticked all the right boxes.

There is still a lot for me to learn as old habits die hard but I know with having Dynamic Nutrition on board this will change as I continue to work with them on changing years of yo-yo dieting for clean eating.
