Big Mac Burger

  • 1 sesame burger bun, cut into thirds
  • 200gms premium mince, halved and flattened into very thin patties
  • 2 lettuce leaves, finely sliced
  • 1/2 brown onion, slightly browned
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 8 sandwich stackers (slices of gherkin)
  • Bottle of Watties classic secret sauce
  • Pink rock salt

Preheat oven to Fan Bake 180 degrees.

Place meat patties in a small amount of oil in a preheated pan. Cook one side then flip and cook the other side. Place a piece of cheese on each patty to melt while second side is cooking.

While patties are cooking place burger buns in preheated oven to lightly toast.

Remove buns from the oven and spread burger sauce across all 3 layers on one side. Then add lettuce, onion, meat patty, gherkins and a sprinkle of salt to the base of the bun and the middle layer. Once completed stack the layers on top of eachother and top with the rest of the bun.

Place back in the oven for 2 minutes to slightly warm it through and serve. 😀

TOP TIP – One burger is enough for a women, 2 or more for a male depending on his goals 🙂
